Child Blindness

According to the World Health Organization, there are 1.4 million blind children in the world today. Of these, 75% live in developing countries. Another 19 million are severely visually impaired of which 12 million need eyeglasses.

IEF is committed to saving the sight of children around the world by improving pediatric eye care services. Through IEF’s Sustainability Partner clinics, thousands of children are now receiving the eye care, surgery and glasses that were previously unavailable to them.
