The Magrabi Eye Hospital in Cairo, Egypt is a non-governmental organization hospital serving poor and subsidized patients that opened in 2002. Since IEF and Magrabi partnered, the number of patients screened increased by 119% in 2003, cataract operations increased by 31%, and 100% of patients either pay a package price for services including surgery, or get subsidized free care.
