IEF People In The News: IEF Executive Director Victoria M. Sheffield Honored [June 2005]

The Union of Bulgarian Ophthalmologists honored IEF Executive Director Victoria M. Sheffield for her years of service with election as an Honorary Member at the Second South-East European Congress of Ophthalmology (SEECO), June 1 to 4, 2005 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Ms. Sheffield and IEF Board member Dr. James P. Ganley, MPH, participated in the SEECO meeting in Bulgaria, organized by this year's SEECO President and IEF Country Representative, Prof. Petja I. Vassileva. The meeting was held in collaboration with the annual Union of Bulgarian Ophthalmologists meeting. Dr. Ganley's presentation on submitting scientific articles for publication also generated great interest from everyone. Dr. Ganley traveled to Bulgaria as the Editor in Chief of Ophthalmic Epidemiology and kindly represented IEF while there. [ IEF People in the News ]
